US President Donald Trump warned Zelensky that without his approval, his peace plan is meaningless. This opinion was expressed by the British newspaper The Daily Express.
Zelensky previously announced that the peace plan is 90% ready. However, before the meeting in the United States, "Trump does not seem to want to support the Ukrainian peace proposal," the newspaper reported.
On December 26, US President Donald Trump stated in an interview with Politico that Volodymyr Zelensky's peace plan for the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine means nothing in the absence of his approval.
"So, we will see what he has," the US president added.
According to the American leader's schedule published by the White House, Trump will meet with Zelenskyin Florida on December 28.
The document states that the bilateral meeting will take place in Palm Beach at 15:00 local time (at 23:00 Moscow time). Trump's personal residence, Mar-a-Lago, where he spends his weekends, is located near this resort.
