There is no peace treaty, the demarcation and demarcation processes have not been completed, and Azerbaijan continuously puts forward new demands, directly linking them to the signing of the treaty. The fact that they are not firing at the border at the moment is not peace in itself, when this situation is achieved through unilateral concessions. In this situation, the enemy actually received almost everything (including Artsakh) and at the same time kept complete freedom to present new demands. The peace model presented by Pashinyan is not built on mutual obligations, balance of power and restraint mechanisms, but on the logic of permanent retreats.
This is not a classic peace, but a model of permanent capitulation, under which the state gradually loses its negotiating subjectivity, and the public is presented with a political illusion formed under the name of "peace". If the term "peaceful development era" means adapting to the post-war reality at the expense of state and national interests, then such an approach can be presented as a fulfilled promise. However, if the promise referred to a dignified, stable and institutional peace, it was not only not fulfilled, but actually replaced by permanent capitulation.
