SHAMSHYAN.comAccording to the information, on August 14, an accident took place in Shirak Marz.
At around 20:30, 69-year-old Yervand Serobyan, a resident of Shirak marz, ran over a pedestrian, 63-year-old Martin Simonyan, a resident of Shirak marz, in front of Hakob Mtsbnetsi church on Paruyr Sevak street, Ani district, Gyumri city, with his "Infinity" car.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, the victim was taken to Gyumri Medical Center by ambulance.
The patrols of the Shirak marz battalion of the Police Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, led by the battalion commander Levon Babayan, arrived at the scene.
The information about the incident was transferred from the Shirak marz battalion of the PS Shirak Marz Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, from where the investigative team arrived headed by the duty investigator responsible for the day.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated in the investigation department.
C. According to Shamshyan, driver E. Serobyan works as the rector of Shirak State University, and his son Zhorzhik Serobyan works in the trauma department of the Gyumri Medical Center as a doctor, who previously held the position of the director of the Austrian Mother and Child Hospital in Gyumri.
