In the city of Dimitrov (Ukrainian name: Mirnograd) of the Donetsk People's Republic, the Russian armed forces have registered an advance. This was reported by "Strana.ua", referring to the Ukrainian analytical Deep State platform.
The information was spread through a program published on Telegram. According to the source, offensive operations of Russian troops continue not only in Dimitrov direction, but also in Sumi region. Earlier, on December 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Dimitrov is under complete siege by the Russian armed forces, and on December 23, it was reported about the "cleansing" of the city.
Before that, one of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nicknamed "Muchnoi", noted that the situation in Dimitrov is getting worse hour by hour and is moving "toward a sad end". According to him, the situation became critical after the Russian forces established control over the Svetloye settlement and started operations in the western part of the city.
