Yesterday, Deputy Chairman of the RA National Assembly, Capt. Ruben Rubinyan made a note. "Edmon Marukyan offered to leave the Enlightened Armenia Party, if that is the problem, before leaving the post of ambassador with special assignments, when the prime minister did not accept him for months. We said, do what you want" (the post is verbatim, without editing and proofreading).
The journalist of "Past" newspaper appealed to LAP chairman Edmon Marukyan with the aim of verifying how true Rubinyan's post is. Marukyan said that he has no desire to refer to Ruben Rubinyan every time, because he "always lies, just like before, now" and added: "Ruben Rubinyan was my coffee maker in the "Yelk" alliance.
He was also my coffee maker when I held the position of ambassador on special assignments. After my resignation and rightly criticizing the authorities, he takes it very hard and spreads lies about me.
This is my last reference to Rubinyan. I will ignore his lies from now on."
