The composition of the "Peace Council" that will govern the Gaza Strip will be announced in early 2026. the council will include leaders of a number of countries, US President Donald Trump said. "We will do it early next year," he said, answering questions from reporters at the White House.
According to him, that body, the president of which is expected to be Trump himself, will become a "legendary council".
"Basically, these will be the heads of the most important states. They all want to be on the board," the US leader added.
