The main rivals of Volodymyr Zelensky in the presidential elections of Ukraine will be Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko and former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, political scientist Dmitry Zhuravlyov stated in an interview with Lenta.ru.
"Sviridenko represents the interests of the United States, Zaluzhni represents the United Kingdom. But for some reason, I think that Sviridenko has the best chance to win. He will not lead the military units forward, and people are very tired of the war. And subconsciously, many people think that women and peace are intertwined," he explained.
The political scientist added that Kirill Budanov, head of the main intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, also has a chance to win the presidential seat.
