Kentucky Senator Johnny Turner died after falling into an empty swimming pool. This is reported by CNN.

According to the TV channel, the incident happened when Turner was mowing the grass of his own house. The senator fell into the empty pool together with the lawnmower and was injured.

In the hospital, doctors fought for the man's life for a month, but they failed to save the 76-year-old senator.
