The leader of the Communist Party of Moldova, Vladimir Voronin, demanded from the country's Central Electoral Commission to cancel the results of the European integration referendum due to mass violations. His words were quoted by RIA Novosti.

"The authorities organized the referendum to attract as many voters as possible to the polls, and in this confusion Maya Sandu got even more votes," he said.

According to him, in the polling stations of Western countries, Moldovan diplomats had massively stuffed ballots.

"We will apply to the Central Electoral Commission to demand the annulment of the results of this referendum," Voronin said.
