Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kazan to participate in the BRICS summit.

On October 22, the 16th BRICS summit started in Kazan. 36 delegations of countries and six delegations of international organizations are expected to attend the summit. Among them, 22 delegations will be represented at the highest level.

The Prime Minister of India was met at the airport by the head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. India has been a member of BRICS since its inception and actively participates in the activities of the association.
