Experts indicate ideal time for coffee or tea

Caffeine can increase the mood, especially during the first 2.5 hours of waking up. This conclusion came to German researchers. The results of the work were published in Scientific Reports (Scirep).

Scientists have analyzed two large-scale research data involved in more than 230 young people. In a few weeks, participants mentioned several times a day whether they used drinks containing caffeine in the last year and a half. At the same time, they appreciated their emotional situation in the mobile application.

It turned out that after the cup of coffee or tea, the level of joy and enthusiasm increased, especially if the drink was used in the first 2.5 hours of waking up to sleep. The impact on negative emotions has been recorded more rare and weaker.

The study also showed that the energy impact of caffeine was stronger to those who felt fatigue, and weaker when they were in the presence of other people. In this case, the tendency to anxiety or depression did not affect the results.

The authors emphasize that caffeine can be a useful way during the day, especially in the morning to maintain a positive mood. However, the observational nature of the study does not allow you to establish a direct causal connection.
