Pashinyan explained emigration from Armenia with earrings and kebab

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan shared his experience of communicating with emigrants from the republic living in Europe at a parliamentary meeting.
According to Pashinyan, he often met citizens of the republic in hotels in European countries who began to speak to him in Armenian.
“The question arises: why did you emigrate, what was the reason? Is there really no place to work as a waiter in hotels in Armenia?
It turns out that one emigrated because of his hairstyle, another because of an earring in his ear, the third does not like khash (a rich hot dish. - Ed.), the fourth - kebab, and so on,” the publication Panorama quoted him as saying. . am.
The head of the Armenian government clarified that he considers the problem of emigration one of the main ones for the republic, but, in his opinion, it has not been sufficiently studied. He named among the reasons for emigration difficulties in finding employment, related to the inability to protect one’s rights, injustice and military service.
As Regnum reported, on October 12, Secretary of the Country's Security Council Armen Grigoryan stated that residents of Armenia may well abandon wheat in favor of rice, in order to avoid dependence on this strategic product. According to him, citizens of the republic need to be “more flexible” in such matters.
The official noted that security, among other things, depends on strategic goods, which, according to him, “may change.”
The main supplier of wheat to Armenia is Russia.
