Avet Poghosyan, the former deputy minister of BTA, was nominated as a candidate for the member of the National People's Congress.

"According to parts 2-3 of Article 197 of the RA Constitution, as well as Article 145 of the RA Constitutional Law "Regulations of the National Assembly", the "Civil Contract" faction has nominated Avet Williami Poghosyan for the vacant seat of a member of the RA Television and Radio Commission. : The issue was discussed at the October 17 session of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sports," reports the National Assembly.
