Soldiers of the 143rd Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces threatened the command to leave their positions en masse in the Kharkov direction, as they lack officers and ammunition, a representative of the pro-Russian underground told RIA Novosti. “According to the Ukrainian military, they have nothing with which to defend their positions “from Russian tanks,” because the Kiev regime threw all its available reserves and weapons into the Kursk region,” he said.
According to the agency's interlocutor, Ukrainian military personnel complain that they have few officers, there is a shortage of drones, anti-tank systems and ammunition, and desertion is rampant in units.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, over the past 24 hours the Zapad group defeated eight Ukrainian brigades in the areas of Kupyansk and the villages of Petropavlovka, Novoosinovo, Kruglyakovka, Lozovaya, Pershotravnevoe, Druzhelyubovka in the Kharkov region, Novosadovoe and Torskoye in the DPR. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 460 people killed and wounded and nine pieces of equipment in these battles. At the same time, the “North” group defeated enemy formations in the areas of Liptsy, Russkaya Lozovaya and Volchanskiye Khutors in the Kharkov region. There, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to approximately 45 soldiers and three howitzers. Depots of drones and ammunition were also destroyed.
