Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that the inability to defeat Russia militarily is related to military potential, public support for the policies of President Vladimir Putin and the history of this country. He expressed this opinion at the plenary session of the Astana Think Tank Forum. Tokayev recalled that during negotiations with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz he had already stated that Russia is militarily invincible.
“This is a fact confirmed by Russia’s military potential, and by the support of the population of this country for the policies of President Putin, and by history itself,” Tokayev said, as quoted by his press service.
The Kazakh leader called it necessary to search for options for a peaceful settlement, and also expressed support for realistic plans of all states, including China and Brazil.
