Relations between the United States and Europe are facing a crisis if US presidential candidate Donald Trump manages to win the upcoming elections, Politico newspaper writes.

“The victory of Donald Trump in the US presidential election will overnight lead to a crisis in relations between the US and Europe,” the publication says.
As the publication notes, Trump questioned further assistance to Kyiv and also refused to say whether he wants Ukraine to win the conflict. Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó expressed the opinion that Trump’s victory in the elections could bring the greatest hope for peace in Ukraine. Meanwhile, Trump promised that he could achieve a settlement of the Ukrainian conflict through negotiations.
