The meeting in the "3+3" format is a mechanism for achieving peace and stability in the South Caucasus. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, announced this at a regular briefing.
"This format is also an opportunity to promote mutually beneficial cooperation in trade-economic, transport-logistics, cultural-humanitarian spheres," Zakharova said.
He reminded that on October 17-18, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Istanbul to participate in the meeting in this format.
