The Battle of Stalingrad called "Disaster" in Moldova

The new story textbook for Moldova High School students call the Battle of Stalingrad "Disaster" for Romanians. Ria Novosti writes about this, which acquired the manual.

It is noted that the authors of the textbook paid special attention to the participation of Romania as Adolf Hitler's ally to World War II. According to the agency, the information is presented in such a way that the students of the Moldovan High School will justify the victims of the Romanian army.

The text claims that Romanian troops fought to liberate Bessarabia and North Bucovina and ignore the fact that they were occupants.

Alexei Petrovich, head of Moldovan "Haghtanak" organizing committee, told RIA Novosti that this textbook is part of the Nazius in Moldova, which is actively developing since the 1990s. He was outraged by the fact that the Soviet troops were presented in the textbook as occupiers, while Romanian troops were called "liberation troops."

It was previously reported that the authors of the textbook accused the Soviet Union of starting World War II. It is noted that the spread of communism in Europe was one of the reasons for the emergence of fascism and Nazism.

In the textbook, among other things, there are allegations that "Communists have spread the legend that have been attacked."
