Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has canceled his visit to the United States scheduled for next week, Ynet reports, referring to information from the Prime Minister's Office. In the United States, Netanyahu planned to attend the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham, who died on July 11.
According to Ynet, the cancellation is due to Graham's funeral, which is likely to be postponed until the end of this month. "Times of Israel" previously reported that Netanyahu hoped to meet with US President Donald Trump during his visit.
According to the publication, even before Grem's death, the Israeli side had discussed with the White House the possibility of organizing such a meeting "in the coming weeks".
