The US would not have gone to war with Iran if current Vice President J.D. Vance was president. American journalist Tucker Carlson expressed a similar opinion. "If Vance was president, we wouldn't be at war with Iran. I can't imagine Vance coming out and saying.
"We need to start two wars to defeat the phantom nuclear program."
When asked if Vance could win the next presidential election, Carlson said: "We will see. I would have liked to see him as president in 2024, but that didn't happen." Vance, along with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, has been identified as one of the possible presidential candidates from the Republican Party in the 2028 elections. According to American media, Vance was one of the few allies of Trump who criticized the war with Iran.
