Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, an elite unit of the armed forces) has announced that it has destroyed several American tanks and fighter jets at the US Air Force base in Jordan.
"Yesterday evening, the US military again carried out hostile operations, using its bases in Jordan to commit a major war crime and targeting civilian targets, including several bridges, residential areas and a water station in the southern Iranian city of Bandar Abbas.
In response to these actions, fighters of the IRGC, within the framework of the 14th wave of the "Nasr-2" operation, attacked the American fighters and tanks stationed in Jordan," the press service of the IRGC said in a statement. The statement states that as a result of the attack, several American tanks and fighters were destroyed, as well as several other aircraft were seriously damaged.
