The Russian FSB has announced the arrest of a Ukrainian agent in the murder of a lieutenant General Moscalk


Ukrainian Special Services Agent Ignat Kuzin has been arrested on the murder of Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moscalk, Kommersant reports, citing the Russian FSB.

Moscow died on April 25 as a result of a car bomb in Balashhakha, Moscow region.

"Ignat Kuzin was recruited by the Ukrainian special services in the Ki region in April 2023, according to the ADP statement. Kuzin was arrested in Turkey, where he jumped after placing a bomb in the car. He was taken to Moscow, the building of the investigation committee. A criminal case has been initiated under the illegal storage of explosives or explosives or equipment. The suspect has a residence permit in Ukraine.

Svetlana Petrenko, a representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, stated that in the future the case can be re-qualified as a terrorist attack (Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
