RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan met with Søren Søndergaard, head of the Danish delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union, in Geneva on October 15. The interlocutors touched upon the development of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and discussed a wide range of issues related to Armenian-Danish relations.
The Speaker of the RA National Assembly presented to the interlocutor the latest developments in the process of negotiations on the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and presented the position of the Armenian side in achieving lasting peace.
Reference was also made to the issue of Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan and other issues of bilateral cooperation.
