The Strategic Partnership Treaty between Russia and the DPRK includes provisions for mutual defense in the event of an external attack and envisages enhanced security cooperation. This was confirmed at a briefing by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, answering a question from TASS.
“In the agreement, in fact, the wording - you yourself listed them, they do not need further clarification. They are quite unambiguous,” the Kremlin representative indicated. “At the same time, the main thing, probably, this agreement implies strategic in-depth cooperation in all areas, including including in ensuring security," Peskov added.
