The emergency election in Yerevan is more than topical, it is a demanded agenda and it seems that there is a political consensus. Manuk Sukiasyan, head of the "Mother Armenia" faction, announced during the session of the Yerevan City Council.
He accused Mayor Tigran Avinyan that he always failed in all the previous areas, wherever he was. "The ghosts of criminal cases accompany you," said Sukiasyan and listed: "10 billion drams were squandered in the ANIF case - there is no accused, money was squandered during the covid period - there is no accused, and the same in the municipality."
"Political management has failed and today the extraordinary election is more than important," he said.
