The company DreamSmart (Meizu brand) unveiled the Meizu StartV Ring 2, a "two-in-one" smart ring, at an event in China today. The ring monitors key health metrics and assesses the risk of hyperglycemia, measuring blood glucose levels with up to 80% accuracy—a feature particularly useful for people with diabetes.The Meizu StartV Ring 2 also tracks blood pressure, body temperature, blood oxygen levels, and sleep quality, offering recommendations for improvement. It monitors heart rate, including during physical activity.Additionally, the smart ring simplifies interactions with other DreamSmart devices, such as the StarV Air 2 smart glasses and the new Meizu Lucky 08 smartphone.The Meizu StartV Ring 2 comes in a "Black Meteorite" color and is priced at 1,299 yuan (about $185), with an early-bird price of 1,099 yuan (about $156).
