On January 24, the Shengavit department received information that a 43-year-old man was bottling fake vodka in Shiraz street.
On the same day, a 43-year-old man was arrested and transferred to Shengavit department on suspicion of engaging in illegal business activities.
The 43-year-old man was submitted to the prosecuting body with the prepared documents. Criminal proceedings were initiated.
The officers of the Shengavit and Mashtots departments conducted an inspection in the area of the aforementioned building on January 25. A large number of excise stamps of different types of vodka, corks, eight 10-liter containers filled with alcohol-like liquid, various bottling accessories and bottled vodkas were found.
An investigation is underway.
