Trump discussed the issue of achieving peace in the Middle East with the King of Bahrain

US President Donald Trump and King Bahraini Kayikh Hamad Ben Isa Al Khalifa discussed peace and Abraham's agreement in the Middle East. The press service of the White House reported on Sunday.

"Today, on January 26, President Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with King Hamad Ben Isa Al Khalifa. The king congratulated President Trump on the occasion of the inauguration, and the leaders discussed peace and security in the region, "the statement said.

Abraham's agreement was reached in 2020, a number of agreements with the UAE and Bahrain to normalize Israel's relations. Sudan and Morocco later announced the normalization of relations with Israel.

Prior to the signing of these agreements, the Jewish state established diplomatic relations from the Arab countries only with Egypt and Jordan.

On January 20, Trump admitted that Saudi Arabia may sign Abraham's agreement to normalize relations with Israel until the end of 2025.
