With a common vision towards a developed Goris
New prospects for the development of tourism have been outlined in Goris. During the meeting between the head of the community Arush Arushanyan and the representatives of the hotel business, not only the current issues were discussed, but also a clear development strategy was developed.
Arush Arushanyan noted that an ambitious agenda has already been set for 2025. Goris should be transformed not only into a touristic city, but also into an ecologically clean and green city.
In the next 15 days, the municipality will publish the annual plan of events for 2025. After that, active work with tour operators will begin in order to make Goris more competitive in the tourist market.
The managers of the hotels proposed a new format of cooperation with the government: to take the initiative of holding events and meetings of state significance in Goris. This will enable the city to become a business and cultural center of regional significance.
The participants of the meeting agreed that the challenges that arose after the war require new approaches. Uniting around a common vision and acting in a coordinated manner has become imperative of the time. The representatives of the hotel industry have expressed their willingness to actively participate in the city's development programs.
