Protests have erupted in Slovakia against Prime Minister Fico and his government

Protests are taking place in a number of Slovak cities against the current Prime Minister Fico and his government.

The slogan of the demonstrators is "Slovakia is Europe". This is reported by the local publication Aktuality.

The "Peace of Ukraine" initiative and opposition political parties are organizing protests against Fico's government in Slovakia. In parallel, protests are taking place in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Ireland.

Thousands of people participate in the demonstrations, the media counted 15 thousand participants in Košice.

Let's remind that the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fizo, said that the Slovak opposition is going to hold a "Maidan".

"I can't name names, I can't mention the circumstances, but I can say with all seriousness that the Slovak opposition is preparing for the Maidan," he said.

Commenting on Slovakia's counter-intelligence information, he said the opposition is planning to occupy government buildings, oppose the work of the government and collaborate with foreign powers.
Fizo added that this is a long-term, organized influence operation, the purpose of which is to destabilize the situation in Slovakia.
