The governor of the Altai region, Viktor Tomenko, has announced that due to bad weather, a high alert regime will be introduced in the region.
"There is an unfavorable weather forecast in the Altai region. At the end of the week, the wind can reach 30 meters per second. Meteorologists also say that it will be very cold.

According to the governor, the rescuers have already started working in an enhanced mode. The mobile groups left for the regions of the region where the most difficult situation is expected. They include areas in the south of the region.
