International NATO military exercises have started in Germany under the auspices of the USA

The international exercises "Combined Resolve XXI" (Combined Resolve XXI), which are organized by the US ground forces in Europe, have started at the training ground in the south-east of Germany, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania reported.


"Around 4,000 soldiers from 16 NATO member countries and associated countries are training at the Joint International Training Center in Hohenfels, Germany within the framework of the Combined Resolve XXI exercise," the statement said.


The purpose of the exercise was to prepare for joint operations with allied units and to improve cooperation between the allied armies, the ministry said.
