On January 20, at 02:42, the crisis management center of the Syunik Regional Rescue Department received an alert that a truck was on fire on the 20th km of the Kapan-Verin Khotana highway.

Two combat teams from the fire-rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan went to the scene. The fire was isolated at 04:07 and extinguished at 05:07.

The "Scania" truck (driver: M. T.) was burnt.
