According to the Georgian Highway Department, as of 11:00 a.m., due to bad weather (heavy snow, wind), the traffic of vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers is restricted in the section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars international highway, Gudauri-Kobi, while traffic for other types of vehicles is free. :
"According to the information of the National Environment Agency, traffic in the Stepansminda-Lars section will be carried out without stopping. Movement in the specified mode will be carried out under the direct control and coordination of the patrol police," the message said.
