The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Russia and Iran will open a new chapter in bilateral relations, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian believes.

The President of Iran, who is on an official visit to Russia, met with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin. On Friday, he will also hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, with whom he will sign the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between the Russian Federation and Iran.

"I am sure that this agreement will open a new, strong page in our bilateral relations," Pezeshkian said at the meeting with Mishustin.
