Information was spread that a man had sexual relations in the city of Vardenis, Gegharkunik region.of Iravaban.netaccording to reports, with a 13-year-old girl, after which the child was taken to the hospital.
From the investigative committeeof Iravaban.netin response to the question, they informed that on January 10, 2025, a criminal proceeding was initiated in the Vardenis investigative department of the Gegharkunik Marz Investigation Department of the RA Criminal Investigation Department, under Article 201, Part 3, Clause 3 of the Criminal Code, and the preliminary investigation is currently underway.
Clause 3 of Part 3 of Article 201 defines: Committing an indecent act, which took place against a person deprived of the ability to resist the criminal or to realize the nature of the act committed against him, or a person with mental health problems.
Notice: A person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code by a legally binding court verdict.
