The British government is against sending peacekeeping troops to Ukraine, the Telegraph writes, referring to British government sources.
"Any redundancies, if they happen, would put significant pressure on the Ministry of Defense budget at a time when the Treasury is looking to cut spending," it said.
It is also noted that the British government is very worried about the consequences of such a step for its country.
"There are concerns about what we can support, what we would like to support, and the broader question of what threat those troops might be exposed to, and whether it is an escalation," the official said.
