Putin met with the President of the Central African Republic

On January 16, Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with his Central African Republic (CAR) counterpart, Faustin-Archangel Touadera.

The Kremlin noted that the heads of state plan to discuss the state and prospects of further development of bilateral cooperation in the political, commercial, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as current issues of the international and regional agenda.

Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, said in a briefing that Russia is developing relations with the Central African Republic in all possible areas, including the security sector.

"We intend to further develop this cooperation, we have a lot of experience and long-term plans," the representative of the Kremlin emphasized.

The President of the Central African Republic arrived in Moscow on the morning of January 15, his visit will last until January 17.
