The former president of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, confirmed that she will go to the USA for the inauguration ceremony of Donald Trump at the invitation of South Carolina Republican Congressman Joe Wilson.
"You know, and today I confirm that I am going to the inauguration ceremony of President Trump, I am going to Washington at the invitation of Joe Wilson," Zurabishvili said at a briefing in his new office in Tbilisi.
According to Zurabishvili, he will "have high-level meetings" in Washington.
At the end of December, Wilson wrote in X that Zurabishvili, as the "only legitimate leader" of Georgia, is invited to Trump's inauguration on January 20.
