Max has unveiled the first official teaser trailer for its new series Dune: The Prophecy, which tells the story of the Bene Gesserit sisters. With this, the network has lifted the curtain on what will happen in the series, inspired by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson's 2012 novel The Sisterhood of Dune.
The new series is based on Denis Villeneuve's widely acclaimed films Dune: Part Two and the upcoming Dune: Part Three. But this storyline specifically follows the Bene Gesserit 10,000 years before the birth of Paul Atreides. The teaser provides insight into the conflict within the Imperium and the creation of the Bene Gesserit sisterhood by the two Harkonnen sisters, who establish power and control among the great houses.
