Great Britain will send 2.6 thousand soldiers to the NATO exercises in Bulgaria and Romania

Britain will send 2,600 soldiers and 730 pieces of equipment to NATO's Steadfast Dart exercise, which will take place in Bulgaria and Romania from January 13 to February 26, according to the Ministry of Defence.
The department notes that the British military will exercise command of all ground forces participating in the exercise.

At the same time, the Royal Navy and Air Force will also be involved in the Steadfast Dart.
It is reported that the upcoming military exercises will assess NATO's capabilities for the rapid deployment of rapid reaction forces on the alliance's eastern borders.

"NATO's new rapid reaction force will not only support the alliance's defense capabilities in times of crisis, but will also strengthen our ability to deter our adversaries, including Russia," the Defense Ministry said in a document.
