2 butchers were released from the court


The 2 butchers who were arrested from the "Gum" market were released from the court at midnight last night. They were charged and the petition for arrest was being examined late last night in the court of general jurisdiction of the city of Yerevan (Ajapnyak seat). 6 out of 8 arrested butchers were released after 72 hours.

Gevorg Khachatryan, the lawyer dealing with the case of 2 butchers who were prosecuted by the Republic of Kazakhstan, said in a conversation with Euromedia 24.com that the case is at the preliminary stage. Yesterday's trial was the examination of a restraining order, the preliminary investigation body wanted to apply a restraining order.

The court did not consider the testimony given by the police to be sufficient. The investigation should continue, but not in the presence of a restraining order.
