Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Japan's Emperor Naruhito on his birthday.
The head of state wrote this on his Twitter account.

"A deep respect for traditions and at the same time the introduction of the latest technologies – this is what makes Japan strong. On his birthday, I wish His Majesty Emperor Naruhito and his entire country prosperity and beautiful harmony in the Reiwa era," the tweet reads.

As was reported earlier, on October 22, 2019, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska took part in Emperor Naruhito's enthronement ceremony.
