The Ukrainian Finance Ministry has established PJSC Ukrainian Financial Housing Company, the ministry's press service has reported.
Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko signed the charter of PJSC Ukrainian Financial Housing Company, which was created to develop and implement an affordable housing loan mechanism. In particular, the issue concerns financial instruments with the possibility of obtaining a home loan at up to 7% per annum for up to 20 years with the involvement of banks through government mediation.

Marchenko congratulated Vasyl Shkurakov on his appointment as director general of PJSC Ukrainian Financial Housing Company.

PJSC "Ukrainian Financial Housing Company is established to implement financial and credit mechanisms to provide citizens of Ukraine with housing. The company is to provide financial leasing services for real estate, lending to banks to finance mortgages to individuals.

According to Marchenko, at the first stage, it is planned to provide 12,500 mortgage loans and purchase 18,800 apartments under financial leasing.
