The number of conducted PCR tests in Ukraine has grown by almost 7,500 over the past week.
Health Minister Maksym Stepanov stated this at a briefing on September 14, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"A total of 164,929 PCR tests were performed from September 7 to September 13. We continue to increase the number of tests. For comparison, from August 31 to September 6, 157,561 tests were conducted. We have carried out by almost 7,500 PCR tests more,” Stepanov said.

He noted that Ukraine confirmed 18,729 cases of coronavirus over the past week.

Also, the number of COVID-19 hospitalizations over the past week reached 2,920, which is 100 patients more compared with the week before.

As reported, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine reached 156,797 on September 14, including 2,462 new cases reported over the previous day.
