The state concern Ukroboronprom and the Ministry of the Interior of Peru have signed an additional agreement on cooperation in the field of repair and modernization of equipment, which will be implemented at the state enterprise Antonov.
Ruslan Korzh, Deputy Director General for Aeronautics and Rocket Engineering at Ukroboronprom stated this at the round-table meeting “The Current State and Prospects of Ukrainian Aviation Industry’s Enterprises", which was held at Ukrinform on Thursday.

“The good news: we have signed an additional agreement within the export contract with the National Police of Peru for several tens of millions of dollars - this is repair and modernization of equipment, and now we are in the process of signing the final documents with SE Antonov for receiving the advance payment. The Peruvian police have already issued a letter of credit for the full amount of the contract, and this contract enabled us to open the AN-178 program officially for execution,” said Korzh.
