Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov will attend the European summit of Presidents of Parliament of the Council of Europe member states.
“On October 24-25, the Ukrainian delegation headed by Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov will be in Strasbourg (the French Republic) to participate in the European summit of Heads of Parliament of the Council of Europe member states,” reads the report posted on the Ukrainian parliament’s website.

The Ukrainian speaker is expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings with the European partners.

The press service of the Council of Europe told own Ukrinform correspondent that the Presidents of Parliament from the 47 Council of Europe member states and many partners, observers and representatives of neighboring countries, along with the Presidents of other international assemblies, will be meeting in Strasbourg on 24 and 25 October 2019 for a European parliamentary summit.

Some 60 Presidents, together with 300 other delegates, are expected to attend the conference, organized by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

The first conference was held in 1975. This event is held every two years in Strasbourg.
