During a press conference in Tsaghkadzor, Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan referred to the case of the death of a woman after plastic surgery at "Artcosmed", noting that they received a license suspension petition from the inspection body in this case and this issue will be discussed in the upcoming sessions.
"We are going to tighten the license conditions, the package has already been reviewed by specialists, but this also goes through several stages of circulation. When the license rules change, we give a certain period for the medical centers to transform both their equipment and professional requirements, as well as the requirements for the premises, that is, we are going to tighten the license conditions.
We have changed the list of specialties so that it is clear what the volumes of plastic surgery should be, what the plastic surgeon has the right to and what he does not have the right to," he said.
Avanesyan mentioned that the issue should not be considered as a problem of one center.
Let's remind: a doctor who underwent several plastic surgeries at the "Artcosmed" aesthetic surgery center died. After undergoing plastic surgery at the last-mentioned medical center, he experienced a sharp deterioration in his well-being, as a result of which a cardiac arrest was recorded.
It should be noted that this was not the only case in that center.
