Accordingly, in 2024 It was included in the preliminary list of world heritage at the 46th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee held in New Delhi in July.

In order to be included in the main list of UNESCO's world heritage in 2024. Through the mediation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage submitted the preliminary assessment application "Dragon Stones and Cultural Landscape of Tirinkatar Ancient Site" to the UNESCO World Heritage Center in the current year and received the opinion of the International Council for the Preservation of Monuments and Landmarks (ICOMOS).
