The Foreign Ministry confirmed that the film about Artsakh did not appear in the "Oscar" nomination due to pressure from Baku


Baku confirmed that as a result of its pressure, Jordan withdrew the Armenian director's film about Artsakh from the 97th "Oscar" award ceremony.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Aykhan Hajizade stated that the content of the tape presented by Jordan in the category "Best International Film" of the "Oscar" "contradicts the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan".

The documentary film "My Sweet Country" directed by Sarin Hayrapetyan tells about Artsakh and the people of Artsakh. The main character of the film is 11-year-old Vrezh, who dreams of becoming a dentist in his village in Artsakh.

When the war breaks out again, Vrezh runs away with his family, and after the end of the war, he returns to his already destroyed homeland.
